Canadian Maple Platinum Leaf

This Canadian Maple Platinum real leaf pendant is stunning, worn by itself or layered with other leaves in our collection. These pendants measure approximately, large size 110mm x 85mm and standard size 50mm x 55mm.

Our stunning leaves are skeletonised to leave their veins intact.  The leaf is then preserved through electroforming, a process where the leaf is slowly encased in copper to strengthen it.  The leaf is finished in a heavy layer of platinum.  Their size, shape and patination will vary, enhancing their individual nature and creating a truly unique piece of jewellery.

The maple tree is the national leaf of Canada.  The Native American's considered the maple tree symbolic of offering abundance, generosity, balance, promise and practicality.  The maple tree bore great importance to the Algonquian tribes of the north-west United States and western Canada as they developed techniques to process maple sap into maple sugar, maple syrup and sweet treats.  Renowned for its maple and sugar, the maple tree represents success.

All of our pendants are supplied with a complimentary chain of your choice.  Our chains are made with a base metal of brass and plated in either 24 carat gold, rose gold or sterling silver.  Each chain has two lengths, meaning you have twice the choice on how to wear your piece with that favourite outfit!  Our chains are available in 18 inch (46cm), 24 inch (61cm), 33.5 (85cm).
